YOL BİR, SÜREK BİN BİR
Hakikatçi Alevilikte “Yol” kavramı, sıradan bir inanç sistemi ya da ibadet biçimi değil, insanın kendini, toplumu ve evreni tanıma sürecini kapsayan bütünlüklü bir yaşam felsefesidir. Bu yol, sadece bireyin içsel olgunlaşmasını değil, aynı zamanda kolektif bilinci, toplumsal adaleti, doğayla uyumu ve evrensel barışı hedefler. “Yol bir, sürek bin bir” deyişiyle anlatılan da budur: Hakikat bir tanedir; fakat o hakikate ulaşma biçimleri, bireyin ve toplumun koşullarına göre çeşitlenebilir.
Bu anlamda Alevilikte “yol”, bir dogmaya ya da katı bir kurallar zincirine değil; rızalık, aşk, bilgi, emek, paylaşım ve öz disiplin üzerine kurulu bir hal ve hakikat öğretisine dayanır. Yol yürünür; yani yaşanır, taşınmaz. Kitapta yazmaz; gönülde taşınır.
YOL’UN FELSEFESİ: HAKİKAT, BİLGİ VE AŞK ÜZERİNE
Hakikatçi Alevilikte Yol’un üç temel taşı vardır: Hakikat, Bilgi ve Aşk.
Hakikat, evrendeki her varlığın özüdür. İnsan, bu hakikatin bir yansımasıdır. Yol, insanın kendindeki bu hakikati arama ve gerçekleştirme çabasıdır. Bu nedenle Alevilikte “Hakikat ehli” olmak, her şeyin görünenin ötesini kavramakla ilgilidir.
Bilgi, yolun ışığıdır. Yol, körü körüne inançla değil; sorgulama, akıl yürütme ve öğrenmeyle yürünür. Pirler “Akıl mürşittir” derken, dogmalardan sıyrılmış bir bilinç halini kastederler.
Aşk, yolun gıdasıdır. Buradaki aşk, dünyevi değil; varoluşun bütünlüğüne, insana ve doğaya duyulan kutsal bir bağlılıktır. Yolcu, bu aşk olmadan ilerleyemez.
Yolculuk, sadece bir dışsal arayış değil; nefsin terbiyesiyle, benliğin erimesiyle içselleşen bir dönüşümdür. Yol, “ben”i eritip “biz”de buluşma yoludur.
YOL BİR HAKİKAT YÜRÜYÜŞÜDÜR
Alevi öğretisine göre, bu dünyada insan olmanın erdemi, Yol’dan geçmektedir. Yol, bireyin sadece Tanrı’ya değil, insana, doğaya ve topluma karşı sorumluluğunu da kapsar. Hakikatçi Alevilikte Yol;
Bencilliği aşmak, rızalıkla yaşamak,
Kendini bilmek, evreni kendinde okumak,
Eline, beline, diline sahip olmak,
Mazlumun yanında, zalimin karşısında olmak,
İkrarlı olmak, yola baş koymak,
Lokmasını bölüşmek, paylaşmayı kutsamak,
Doğaya niyaz etmek, onu kirletmeden yaşamak,
Aşk ile hizmet etmek ve hizmette Hakk’ı görmek
gibi değerleri kapsar. Yol, yalnızca kurallar bütünü değil, aynı zamanda bir “ahlaki duruş”tur. Bu duruş, ne sadece birey için vardır ne de sadece cemaat için. Evrenle bir, insanla eş ve toplumla uyum içinde yaşamak esastır.
YOL’DA YÜRÜYEN: TALİP, REHBER, PİR, ANA
Hakikatçi Alevilikte Yol’un bir toplumsallığı vardır. Bu yol tek başına yürünmez. Rehber, Pir ve Ana, yolcunun içindeki hakikati uyandıran kılavuzlardır. Ancak hiçbir rehber ilahileştirilmez. Onlar, sadece bilgiyi taşıyanlar, sevgiyi yayanlardır. Yol ehli olan kişi:
Rehberden akıl alır, ama kendi aklını işletir.
Pir’den yol öğrenir, ama kendi ayaklarıyla yürür.
Ana’dan sevgi alır, ama o sevgiyi çoğaltarak halka taşır.
Bu ilişkiler hiyerarşik değil; gönülde rızalıkla, emekle örülüdür. Talip, yola adanandır. İkrar vererek, sözünü Hakikat önünde mühürleyendir. Cem’de canlar bir araya gelir ve “Cemal cemale” durarak birliğin aynasında görünürler.
YOLUN HEDEFİ: RIZA ŞEHRİ VE KÂMİL İNSAN
Yol, nihayetinde Rıza Şehri denen bir bilinç düzeyine ulaşmayı amaçlar. Rıza Şehri, insanın içsel barışa, toplumsal adalete, sevgiye, bilgiye ve özgürlüğe ulaştığı bir hakikat coğrafyasıdır. Burası maddi bir yer değil; insanın içindeki ahlaki evrimin doruk noktasıdır. Yolcunun amacı:
Kâmil insan olmaktır: Egolarını arındırmış, benliği “biz”de eritmiş,
Her canı Hakk görmüş, her cana hizmeti ibadet bilmiş insandır.
Toplumu, doğayı ve kendini bütün görerek sevgiyle yaşamaktır.
Yol, bir sınıfa, bir millete, bir dile, bir dine ait değildir. Hakikatçi Alevilikte Yol; sınır tanımaz, aidiyet değil, evrensel bir bilinçtir. Bu nedenle Alevi, ne Türk’tür ne Kürt’tür, ne Müslüman’dır ne Hristiyan; o sadece yolda hakikati arayan bir can’dır.
YOLDA OLMAK, VARLIKLA BÜTÜNLEŞMEKTİR
Hakikatçi Alevilikte Yol, bireyin içindeki ışığı uyandırma çabasıdır. Bu çaba bir ömre yayılır. Yol, bir kere yürünüp bitmez; her dem yeniden doğan bir anlayışla, her adımda yeni bir kendini bilme, yeni bir rızalık yaratma sürecidir. Yol, statik değil, devri daimdir. İnsan, doğa, evren ve hakikat bir bütün olarak yaşandığında, yol yürünmüş olur.
Alevi Yolcusu’nun sözü de, özü de birdir. Yol, sadece “nasıl inanacağımızı” değil, nasıl yaşayacağımızı öğretir. Bu da onu inançtan çok, bir yaşam felsefesi yapar.

What Is the Path in Truthful Alevi Teaching?
THE PATH IS ONE, THE WAYS ARE A THOUSAND AND ONE
In Truthful Alevi understanding, the concept of “the Path” is not a mere belief system or ritual form of worship. Rather, it is a comprehensive life philosophy that encompasses the journey of a person to know themselves, society, and the universe.
This path aims not only at individual inner maturity, but also at collective consciousness, social justice, harmony with nature, and universal peace. That is what the saying “The Path is one, the ways are a thousand and one” expresses: Truth is one, but the ways to reach it may vary according to the conditions of individuals and communities.
In this sense, the Alevi “Path” does not rely on dogma or rigid rules. It is grounded in consent, love, knowledge, effort, sharing, and self-discipline. The path is walked — that is, it is lived, not carried. It is not written in a book — it is carried in the heart.
THE PHILOSOPHY OF THE PATH: TRUTH, KNOWLEDGE AND LOVE
The Path in Truthful Alevilik rests on three pillars: Truth, Knowledge, and Love.
Truth is the essence of every being in the universe. The human being is a reflection of this truth. Walking the path means seeking and realizing this truth within oneself. To be “a person of Truth” in Alevilik means perceiving what lies beyond appearances.
Knowledge is the light of the path. The path is not followed through blind faith, but through inquiry, reasoning, and learning. When the Elders say, “Reason is the guide,” they point to a state of consciousness free of dogma.
Love is the nourishment of the path. This is not worldly love, but a sacred connection to the unity of existence, to humanity, and to nature. No traveler can walk the path without this love.
This journey is not just an external search; it is an internal transformation shaped through the taming of the ego and the dissolution of the self. It is the path of melting the “I” and becoming one with the “We”.
THE PATH IS A WALK TOWARD TRUTH
According to the Alevi teaching, the virtue of being human in this world lies in walking the Path. The path includes not only responsibility toward Hakk (the Truth/Being), but also toward people, nature, and society. In Truthful Alevilik, the Path means:
Overcoming selfishness and living with consent
Knowing oneself and reading the universe within oneself
Mastering one’s hands, waist, and tongue
Standing with the oppressed, against the oppressor
Staying faithful to one’s promise and dedicating oneself to the path
Sharing one’s food and sanctifying generosity
Offering reverence to nature and living without polluting it
Serving with love and seeing the Divine in that service
The Path is not just a set of rules — it is an ethical stance. And this stance exists not only for the individual, nor solely for the community. It is essential to live in unity with the universe, in equality with humanity, and in harmony with society.
WHO WALKS THE PATH: SEEKER, GUIDE, ELDERS, WOMEN OF WISDOM
In Truthful Alevilik, the Path has a communal nature. It is not walked alone. The Guide, the Pir (Elder), and the Ana (Woman Elder) are companions who awaken the truth within the traveler. But none of them is deified. They are simply carriers of knowledge, spreaders of love.
A true traveler of the Path:
Listens to the guide, but uses their own reason.
Learns the way from the Pir, but walks with their own feet.
Receives love from the Ana, but multiplies that love and shares it with the people.
These relationships are not hierarchical; they are built upon mutual consent and effort. The seeker (talip) is one who is devoted to the Path, who gives a sacred promise and seals their word before Truth.
In the Cem (Alevi communal gathering), souls come together, stand “face to face” and appear in the mirror of unity.
THE GOAL OF THE PATH: THE CITY OF CONSENT AND THE PERFECT HUMAN
Ultimately, the Path aims at reaching a level of consciousness called the City of Consent (Rıza Şehri). This is not a physical place, but a spiritual realm where the human reaches inner peace, social justice, love, knowledge, and freedom. It is the peak of moral evolution within the person.
The purpose of the traveler is:
To become a Perfect Human: one who has cleansed their ego, dissolved the self in the collective “we”,
One who sees Hakk (Truth) in every being and considers service to others as sacred,
One who lives with love, seeing the self, society, and nature as a whole.
The Path belongs to no nation, no class, no language, no religion. In Truthful Alevilik, the Path knows no boundaries — it is not about belonging, but about universal consciousness. Therefore, an Alevi is not Turkish nor Kurdish, not Muslim nor Christian; an Alevi is simply a soul seeking the Truth on the Path.
TO BE ON THE PATH IS TO BE UNITED WITH EXISTENCE
In Truthful Alevilik, the Path is the effort to awaken the light within. This effort spans a lifetime. The path is not walked once and done — it is a continuous rebirth, where each step is a new awakening, a new act of consent.
The path is not static — it is an eternal flow (devri daim). When the human, nature, the universe, and truth are lived as one, the Path has truly been walked.
For the Alevi traveler, the word and the essence are one.
The Path teaches not only how to believe, but more importantly, how to live — and that is what makes it a philosophy of life, rather than just a belief.
To Be the Path Itself

A seeker of Truth finds their being within.
The Path seeks not rivers, nor barren deserts;

The Path is the blend of Truth you walk upon.
Guard your hands, your words, and your deeds,
Stand against tyrants, aid the wounded and the meek.
The Path holds no lies, no deceit nor disguise —
One who walks with truth reaches the goal in peace.
Be one, to become many; divide, to multiply;
Share the path, and be nourished in every breath.
Sow with love, reap with knowledge, water with service —
Walk the Path of Truth, and be filled with essence.
Burn with the guide’s words, stay in the Pir’s shadow,
Take love from the Ana, and gaze face-to-face.
The City of Consent opens for those who walk in unity,
And all sacred states unfold for those who know themselves.
Devrimî says: the Path lies not in stones but in essence,
One who seeks Truth is always in the fire.
The Path is not just to walk — but to return within;
One who knows not the self is lost — not truly on the Way.
