Alevilik, insanı Hakk’ın varı gören bir diğer ifadeyle “İnsan Hakk’ta, Hakk insanda!” diyen özgün bir inanıştır.

Alevililk; Hakk’ın birliğine, (Vahdet-i mevcud) inanır.

Alevilik; akla ve bilime bağlı, çağdaş insani değerleri önde tutan ilkelere yönelir.

Alevilik; Hace Bektaş Veli’nin; “Bilimden gidilmeyen yolun sonu karanlıktır.” gerceginin etrafında şekillenen bir akıl ve bilim yoludur.

Alevilik; 73 millete bir nazarla bakan insaniyetçi ve evrensel bir tavrın sahibidir

Alevilik, ibadetinde dahi insanı merkez ve kıble kabul eden, gönül kırmayı en büyük süç gören bir bilinç halidir.

Alevilik; Gönül (niyet/fikir) temizliğini EDEB kabul eder ve şekilci değil Öze kıymet verir.

Alevilikte “Avlanmak” mecburi/zaruri olmadıkça yasaktır.

Aleviler, bölen değil birleştiren, parçalayan değil bütünleştiren, dışlayan değil kucaklayan, öç alan değil affeden insanlardır.

Cezai yaptırımları “fiziksel işkence-darp, idam/ölüm” değil, topluma tekrar kazandırma amaçlı terbiye etmektir.

We have Görgü (a communal self-critique assembly based on consent).

We uphold Musahiplik (spiritual companionship).

We have Ana, Pir, Mürşit, Rehber (female and male spiritual guides).

We perform Semah with bare heads and bare feet.

Women and men together engage in sohbet (deep spiritual conversation) and witness the Cem.

We give account for our deeds in this world, in this world.

We die before we die, and do not believe in heaven or hell.

We are made from that which already exists; therefore, we say “En-el Hak” (“I am the Truth”).

We see all 73 peoples as one and equal.

Our principle is to protect our hands, tongues, and loins (ethical restraint).

We believe in Xızır (the embodiment of help, justice, and compassion).

We are devotees of a path where one gives a promise (ikrar) and keeps it.

We unite in Cem.

We light the sacred candle (Çerağ) against the darkness of ignorance.

We stand in the Dara (stance of accountability).

Our goal is to pass through the Four Gates and Forty Stations to become a Perfected Human (İnsan-ı Kâmil).

Our purpose is to reach the City of Consent (Rıza Şehri).

We walk the path of Cemal Cemale (face-to-face unity in love and respect).

We say “The beginning of all things is consent.”

We do not inflict on others what we would not wish for ourselves.

Except for one’s beloved’s cheek, we share everything.

We believe in Love, Light, and Science.

Alevism is a unique belief system that sees the human being as the embodiment of Hakk (Truth/Existence)—in other words, “Hakk is in the human, the human is in Hakk.”

Alevism believes in the unity of existence (vahdet-i mevcud).

Alevism is rooted in reason and science, prioritizing contemporary humanist values.

It follows the wisdom of Hacı Bektaş Veli:

“The end of a path not guided by science is darkness.”

Alevism adopts a universal and humanist stance, regarding all peoples equally.

Even in worship, Alevism centers the human being as the qibla (spiritual axis) and sees breaking hearts as the greatest sin.

Alevism values the purity of intention and thought, calling it Edeb (morality), and favors the essence over form.

In Alevism, hunting is forbidden unless absolutely necessary.

Alevis are unifiers, not dividers, integrators, not segregators, inclusive, not exclusive, forgiving, not vengeful.

Disciplinary practices in Alevism are never based on physical punishment, violence, or execution but aim to reeducate and reintegrate individuals into the community.

Alevism is a philosophy that adopts the ethic of “do not hurt” as a way of being.

Alevism is a culture that says “Love is my religion.”

It is a vast ocean seeking to create a society of hearts full of love and unity, a society that speaks the language of peace and brotherhood.

Alevism is LIGHT.
